Benefit shows for DEMOCRACY!

September 10, 2009

Woo! Fresh from North Carolina with EDENSONG and ready to start promoting two benefit shows in october. The first will be on the 10th at Neverending Books as part of Carl Testa’s Uncertainty Music Series. Special thanks to Carl Testa for giving me the evening, I’m really quite honored. We will be doing some small arrangements of excerpts from Democracy with Carl on bass, Anne Rhodes on voice and Steve Zieminski on pitched percussion. Wonderful cohorts New Haven Improvisers Collective will also be doing a set.

The week after will be another benefit on the New York front, this time at my home away from home, Goodbye Blue Monday on Oct. 16th. This one starts at 8 and features the amazing talents of composer and über-wierdo Paul Pinto, orchestral progressive rock band Edensong, Excerpts from the piece all this is about, Democracy, and Schoenberg-esque metal trumpet/drum project Hazel-Rah. Awesome!
